Dancehall genius XHILA ROY has in recent times been able to woo influential people who holds the genre in ghana. On his very first interview during his #RIPTour, he was hosted by Mr. Root Eye [DIRECTOR, Reggae & Dancehall @ Musiga and Host of TV3 Music Music] on 3FM 92.7 earlier this year. Before answering the numerous questions that he was asked, Mr. Root Eye confessed his admiration for the HWSMusic recording artiste after listening to some of his singles.
“After Stone Bwoy, i have been looking around. I see a lot of talents but i feel that you have something unique. You have something that is on an upper level and the originality in your music will go a long way to put you there. Wherever you intend reaching you gonna get there.” he said.
This is a big endorsement from the general overseer in the highest command for Reggae and Dancehall in Ghana.
The “Corporate Badman” (Xhila Roy) has since proven himself in all facets of the genre and will make his next interview stop on EIB Network’s renowned Ultimate Fm 106.9 in kumasi on 30th April, 2016.
According to his management, he is not relaxing anytime soon and promises songs with good and clearer diction.
